 E-Learning and Traditional Professors

We have been using this space for quite some time now advocating how e-learning has evolved as a primary medium for online institutes, especially for millions of working professionals worldwide. When it comes to managing education, different categories of schools have been approaching things in more or less in a similar manner. For instance, almost all of the online schools would agree on having professional, experienced professors who can manage their responsibilities with agility and promise. On the other hand, things have been different. Some online institutes would compromise on the quality of education. They may overlook the importance of developing a sound curriculum that can build or ruin the prospects of the students as they gear themselves for a career ride.

I have been a curriculum designer at PennFord High School who has been working with the faculty on developing a curriculum that suits the needs of the students. Apparently, the process is definitely easier to deal with, since the job evolves lesser working hours. We understand the idea of framing up a comprehensive course that can suit the needs the students, as well as can be delivered effectively over online media.

We understand that technology and the comprehensiveness of the course need to be well blended with the technology. I had known one professor with great fondness and respect at one of the leading online institutes. Even though she and technology were like oil and water, she understood that technology was one of the tools of her trade and she believed on doing as much as she could on her part as she possibly could to develop the curriculum and foster the means of learning.

The bottomline is that the transition from the traditional to online medium may involve quite a lot of complications, yet the scheme is simple, i.e. to sustain the comprehensiveness of the education and mould it to the needs of the online media.

“I wasn’t aware that a degree can change one’s professional life until I earned an online MBA degree from Rochville Univer-
sity. Since then I have received an interview call from majority of the agencies where I apply. It’s just great to be an MBA without hassles of going to the campus. I’m really glad that I went for it.
